Sweety Pot
This project is to design visual outcomes that can advertise a type of festival. The purpose of the project is to depict a certain theme and feeling through visuals that are not literal.
Sweety Pot is an imagined dessert fair that is happening in Toronto, Canada. I have used a series of illustrations as the main visual contents. The concept themes are joyful, bright, and sweet, which helped me to decide on the style – illustration, color, and font.

Teaser Posters
The use of script type font is to show the playfulness and event-like feeling of the festival. The font also matched very well with the illustrations as the font gives the feeling of scribbled doodles.
Furthermore, through using a thin and wide font, there is a hierarchy between the title (festival name) and other information.
Teaser Video
Most of the visual elements are from the poster except for the typeface. As teaser video needs to both catch audience's attention and share information accurately in a short period of time, the choice of font was concentrated on readability and approachability.
Application (UI/UX)
All the visual elements are related to the teaser posters and video to keep the overall theme. The application is separated into three sections: Information Home Page, Participants Page, and Schedule Page.
